Police raced to an ongoing incident after receiving reports of man with a 'knife' near an Edinburgh hotel. The alarm was raised after reports of a man allegedly in possession of a knife in the Corstorphine Hill area of the Capital.
An image from the area shows several police vehicles outside the Leonardo Murrayfield hotel. A 45-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident that happened around 10.50am this morning.
The man will appear in court to face the accusations on Monday. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We received a report of a man in possession of a knife in the Corstorphine Hill area of Edinburgh around 10.50am on Saturday, 6 June, 2020.
