A man has been hospitalised after being assaulted on Fernhill Road sparking police investigation. The incident happened in Glasgow at around 1.55pm on on Shieldaig Drive at around 1.55pm today.
A 36-year-old was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment on his injuries. Officers have now launched a probe into the attack after closing off the scene for investigations.A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Around 1.55pm on Saturday, 16 May, police were called to a report of a man assaulted on Shieldaig Drive at Fernhill Road.'Officers attended and a 36 year-old man has been taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. "The road was closed and detectives are currently carrying out enquiries in the local area.”
