Led by Inspector Steve Murray, they are responsible for tackling local issues, dealing with partner agencies, local councillors and community groups.With almost 18 years of policing experience Lorna started out on the beat in Bellshill, before serving in the mounted branch for seven years.She returned to Lanarkshire, before being promoted and taking up a post in Motherwell.“From there I moved into community policing, it’s something I really enjoy,”.
