A further two arrests have been made by detectives investigating the murder in Blackburn of Salford law student Aya Hachem, Lancashire Police said tonight.
Two men, aged 34 and 24, were held today on suspicion of the 19-year-old's murder. The arrests mean 13 people have now been detained in connection with Ms Hachem's murder.
All 13 remain in police custody. The force added magistrates have today granted a warrant of further detention in relation to three men arrested on Tuesday.
Two, aged 31 and 35, were held on suspicion of murder and the third, aged 29, was held on suspicion of assisting an offender.
