dailystar.co.ukCops have arrested a 24-year-old man after a girl was allegedly raped in a playing field.The horror attack is believed to have taken place on Monday night in Heywood, Greater Manchester.A police spokesman said the man was arrested on suspicion of rape and is in custody for questioning.Pictures from the scene show a forensics tent set up in a grassy area next to a bush and trees.Specialist officers are supporting the child and her family.Her age was not revealed.A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: "At around 7.45pm yesterday, police were called to reports that a child had been raped near to Balmoral Drive in Heywood.“A 24-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of rape.
