Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay made sure he showed his appreciation to former manager Jose Mourinho after the 1-1 draw with Tottenham Hotspur on Friday night.
Mourinho, now in charge of Spurs, guided his team to a 1-1 draw with the Red Devils in both side's first game back. After the closely-fought game ended all square, players bumped fists rather than shaking hands and embracing - with the exception of McTominay.
The Scotland international, who started the match and was brought off on 89 minutes, ran over to Mourinho to hug his former coach.
McTominay emerged from United's academy under Mourinho and the Portuguese helped develop him into a first-team regular. The 23-year-old has since gone on to make 75 senior appearances
