A woman has reported being raped as she came out of an alleyway close to a senior school, as detectives launch an investigation into the attack.
Officers say the woman, in her 30s, reported being sexually assaulted at around 3.30pm on Wednesday, April 21, in Erith, Bexley in south east London.
She said she was walking down an alleyway between a fried chicken shop and a charity shop towards Hurst Road. As the woman came out of the alleyway by King Henry School playing field, she said she was raped near to a set of garages.
She reported the incident on the same day and is being supported by specially trained officers, MyLondon reports. The Met has launched an investigation and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
