Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was always taking notes in training and also praised the current Manchester United manager's communication skills.
The Norwegian is the Red Devils' fourth permanent manager since the Scot retired in 2013. United have been unable to achieve consistent success since Ferguson's exit but the consensus is that Solskjaer has them heading it the right direction.
Ferguson believes the 48-year-old was always destined for the dugout having managed him for almost a decade. Solskjaer has been keen to honour the club's traditions by playing a certain brand of football and making use of the academy.
