A poignant sculpture highlighting the battle with addiction has been installed in a Dumbarton church.The One Day at a Time wooden depiction of Christ crushing a syringe was created by local woodworker John Woodcock.It will be officially unveiled during a service of remembrance next week at St Augustine’s for those lost to addiction.It comes as pleas have been made to introduce a local crisis centre for those experiencing drug abuse.Leven Councillor Jim Bollan has called on West Dunbartonshire’s Health and Social Care Partnership to look into funding a small crisis unit, after admitting he didn’t know where to direct local youngsters at risk of harm from drug use.Councillor Bollan’s calls came after a report on avoidable drug deaths was
