Playstation 5, the lucky gamers who have could be in for a huge surprise. Old-school Playstation 3 games have started appearing with price tags on the Playstation 5's PSN Store, amid rumours that Sony is pushing for backwards compatibility with its earlier games console.

Titles such as Dead or Alive 5, Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands, and even Bejeweled have reportedly showed up on the Playstation store—and not as PS Now titles.Although gamers are unable to purchase the games from the PS5 store, some of the titles have price tags instead of being listed as a PS Now link, Sony's usual service for streaming last-gen games. The listings have appeared following a new patent from PS5 systems architect Mark Cerny regarding backward compatibility.

Fans now believe Sony is working on something that will expand PS5's backwards compatibility support. Currently, PS5 can play PS4 games.
