Piers Morgan couldn't help but make a cheeky dig at Good Morning Britain ahead of the launch of his new TalkTV show.The 57-year-old presenter will return to our screens on Monday, April 25 with Piers Morgan Uncensored, a lively hour-long primetime show which promises to give viewers the news that matters to them.He announced his new series last month to mark the one-year anniversary of him storming off ITV breakfast show GMB following a heated row with weather presenter Alex Beresford.Piers offered his opinion on Meghan Markle’s then-recent comments about her mental health, including her experiences of racism and suicidal thoughts.He later stormed off set and quit Good Morning Britain later that day in the midst of widespread criticism from various mental health charities and the general public.Speaking at the launch event of TalkTV, Piers said he doesn't wait to take fans away from Good Morning Britain but instead pick up the viewers who stopped watching the programme after he left the show.He said: "I won't be looking to steal Good Morning Britain viewers.
I'm just looking to pick up those who stopped watching it, which is, judging by when I'm walking around and by the ratings, a lot of people.
