Good Morning Britain has been hit with 57,121 Ofcom complaints over the episodes in which Piers Morgan said he did not believe Meghan Markle's comments in her Oprah Winfrey interview, and when he walked off following a tense argument with Alex Beresford.This is the most Ofcom complaints a show has ever received.Originally, more than 41,000 people complained to the broadcasting regulator, which confirmed it would be launching an investigation.Following the initial complaints – as well as a direct complaint from Meghan Markle to ITV – Piers quit Good Morning Britain and said that freedom of speech was a "hill he was happy to die on".According to new Ofcom figures, the episodes of Good Morning Britain on March 8 and March 9 have had a combined.
