Good Morning Britain has seen its average viewing figures slump days after Piers Morgan made a dramatic exit from the show. Since Piers Morgan announced on Tuesday that he would be leaving the morning show after six years, GMB has seen a drop of 358,000 viewers.According to ITV, who spoke to the Daily Star, Thursdays ratings came in at an average of 932,000 viewers across the morning show.This was a stark contrast to the 1.29 million viewers that tuned into the morning show on Tuesday - during which Piers stormed out during a discussion with co-star Alex Beresford.
ITV spokesperson said in a statement: "The overnight figures for Thurs March 11 were an average of 932,000 between 6am and 9am, with a peak of 1.4 million at 8.15am.
