Good Morning Britain has lost another 100,000 viewers in one day after Piers Morgan dramatically quit the show. The morning talk show has been losing viewers since the controversial host sensationally walked off the ITV set.

It has now lost around 40% of its usual audience after fans called for the return of the 55-year-old. The ITV morning programme only brought in around 800,000 viewers on March 17, which was the joint lowest recorded by ratings service Overnights.TV over the last four weeks.

Good Morning Britain’s audience is down by 500,000 from the whopping 1.29 million who watched last Tuesday. BBC Breakfast ended up beating the usually popular show with 1.25 million viewers.
