The last time the weather presenter made an appearance on the ITV show was last Tuesday (9th March), when he was involved in a row with Piers about Meghan Markle.
Alex said he had to speak out about Piers’ comments that he ‘didn’t believe a word’ the Duchess of Sussex said when she discussed having suicidal thoughts and made allegations of racist comments towards her son Archie.
It led to Piers walking off the show before leaving as a host that same day, after more than 41,000 people complained to regulator
