New rules brought in last week mean pubs across England have to shut early as part of the latest coronavirus crackdown. However, The Times reports the bars on the parliamentary estate are exempt because they fall under the description of "a workplace canteen".
Piers, 55, shared a link to the story and expressed his fury over the revelation, tweeting: "This is absolutely outrageous..." He was joined by a number of his followers who also expressed their outrage - with many claiming it's setting a bad example.
