Good Morning Britain was the most complained about TV show throughout the lockdown period, says a new report. This means that GMB accounted for 40% of all television show complaints during lockdown, according to the Buzz Bingo report.
The ITV current affairs show garnered a whopping 9,019 complaints between March and August, particularly on the 15th April with 2,016viewers slamming Piers Morgan's "combative" interview style with government ministers.
And a fiery row between Piers Morgan and Piers Corbyn, the brother of Jeremy Corbyn, sparked 128 complaints to Ofcom. Piers accused Corbyn of "spouting dangerous crackpot nonsense" as he claimed the government were lying about COVID-19 and linked it to 5G networking.
