Yesterday, Piers Morgan, 55, and London’s Mayor Sadiq Khan, 59, clashed about the lack of protection for public transport workers during the coronavirus pandemic.The Good Morning Britain star highlighted that 14 Transport for London workers had died after testing positive for coronavirus.Nine of these were bus drivers.During their interview, Piers and Sadiq ended up at loggerheads after the presenter queried his common sense on the matter.The Mayor said he was following the advice from health organisations, who claim personal protective equipment (PPE) is only required in care settings, such as the NHS.Despite this, the Mayor said safety measures were in place to keep workers and commuters safe.Louise Minchin apologises as she calls out fan.
