This Morning presenter Phillip Schofield, 58, has revealed that speaking to his loved ones “saved [him]” after he came out as gay during an interview with his co-host and close friend Holly Willoughby, 39, on the ITV show in February.The star opened up while sharing the JustGiving page of Alison Watson, whose son Morgan tragically took his own life last Sunday.Phillip encouraged his 4.5 million Twitter followers to speak to people about their struggles and insisted “there is strength in talking”.The television personality wrote in his tweet on Thursday: “Another heartbreaking story.There is strength in talking. “Please don’t try to fight your head on your own.Talking saved me.”Fans took to the comments section of Phillip’s post to share.
