His other work for ITV includes All Star Mr & Mrs (2008–2016), The Cube (2009–2015), and 5 Gold Rings (2017–present). Schofield gained national attention working for the BBC, first as a continuity presenter for Children's BBC on weekdays from 1985 to 1987, then as a presenter on the children's Saturday morning magazine show Going Live! between September 1987 and April 1993.

Phillip Schofield told fans that he looked like he had “peed” his trousers in a set of backstage snaps last night.The Dancing On Ice host joked about the mishap with his 3.1 million followers on Instagram.“When glam shots go wrong!!” the ITV presenter wrote online alongside a picture of himself on the set of the ice skating show.The 58-year-old looked dapper in a double-breasted designer blue suit and coordinating skinny tie ahead of his stint on television.However, when his stylist stepped into the light to take a picture of him something unexpected happened.He cast an unfortunate shadow on the star, which made him look like he had wet himself.“@davidobrien75 didn’t realise his shadow made me look like I’d pee’d me troos!!”(sic) Phillip.
