A former senior detective turned whistleblower claimed Harold Shipman's victims were incinerated, without the consent or knowledge of their families.
Pete Jackson, 59, retired from the force in February 2017 after 31 years working for the police. The former detective superintendent has now taken GMP to an employment tribunal and written a 226-page witness statement, including a series of allegations against former colleagues.
One of the incidents referred to at the proceeding tribunal in Manchester was when body parts of Harold Shipman's victims were allegedly 'destroyed' without the family knowing about it.
