Perth and Kinross will open their doors in person and virtually to the public later this month. Perth and Kinross Heritage Trust (PKHT) has confirmed it will take part in Doors Open Days 2021 on September 18 and 19.The event will see owners and operators of historic and new buildings of particular interest across the country opening their doors and welcoming visitors for free.
The Lower City Mills in Perth, the home of PKHT since October 2019, will be made accessible to the public for the first time in many years.
Visitors will get the opportunity to see inside the water-powered building, to hear about how central it has been in Perth’s food production for centuries and about the trust’s plans for its future.
