Perth’s major arts venues, Perth Concert Hall and Perth Theatre have closed to the public. The decision by Horsecross arts in response to coronavirus was announced at 4.40pm on Tuesday, March 17.In the update, Nick Williams, chief executive of Horsecross Arts said the closure would take immediate effect and the venues would remain shut “until we are able to reopen.”He asked customers to consider letting their tickets go rather than requesting a refund as a measure to safeguard the future of the arts organisation which is a charity.Mr Williams, who took up the post only last month, said: “The health and wellbeing of customers, staff and their families is our top priority.“In line with Government guidelines, and in agreement with Perth and
