Wet Leg have today (March 7) unveiled details of a winter UK and Ireland tour – check out the dates below.The Isle of Wight duo, made up of Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers, will kick off their series of live dates in Norwich before travelling to Bristol, Liverpool, Glasgow, Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham, London, Nottingham and Belfast. The tour will come to a close in Dublin.The presale for the tickets begins at 9am on March 9; the general sale begins at 9am on March 11.

Wet Leg, the Isle of Wight-based duo of Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers, are inching closer to the release of their buzzed-about, self-titled debut LP. With the album dropping April 8 on Domino, they've released its fifth single, "Angelica," along with a self-directed music video.

Wet Leg have shared a new track today (February 28) – listen to ‘Angelica’ below.The duo have also once again self-directed the video for their latest track, which is set on the Isle of Wight where the band are from.Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers say the song is about Teasdale’s oldest friend. It was recorded in Chambers’ living room by bandmate Joshua Mobaraki according to a press release.It goes on to describe the song as a mixture of “the absurd”, “the sardonic”, “social angst” and “a a trippy, synth-kissed journey through parties and regrets.”Speaking about the new song, Teasdale said: “It’s laced with disenchantment. Even though the chorus is ‘good times, all the time’.

Inhaler have announced details of a massive outdoor gig in their hometown of Dublin this summer, with Wet Leg and NewDad as support.The band will play Fairview Park on June 25 this year, with tickets on sale on Friday (February 18) at 9am GMT here.The show comes on the back of the band’s debut album, ‘It Won’t Always Be Like This’, which became the fastest-selling debut album on vinyl by any band this century. It also saw Inhaler become the first Irish band to top the Album Charts with a debut in 13 years – a record previously held by The Script.DUBLIN! Wet Leg have shared their cover of Ronan Keating‘s ‘Life Is A Rollercoaster’ – you can hear their rendition below.The band recorded the cover of the former Boyzone singer’s 2000 solo single for a new Apple Music Home Session, which has been released on the streaming platform today (February 4).“It’s been such a whirlwind for us as a band,” Wet Leg’s Rhian Teasdale explained about their choice of cover. “So I think we chose to cover ‘Life Is A Rollercoaster’ just because we felt like we could relate to the sentiment of it.

Wet Leg have shared a music video for their latest single, ‘Oh No’, ahead of the release of their self-titled debut album.The video, which premiered on the band’s YouTube channel yesterday (February 1), was directed by Wet Leg themselves. Lead singer Rhian Teasdale, guitarist Hester Chambers and the band’s touring guitarist Joshua Omead Mobaraki are credited with filming the clip, which was shot on location in the band’s hometown, the Isle Of Wight.The video depicts Teasdale standing by the ocean, lip-syncing the song while the lyrics are displayed onscreen in the style of a karaoke video.

SXSW Festival has announced another wave of acts for its 2022 edition.The annual music, film and media event is set to return to Austin, Texas between March 14-20 after its 2020 and 2021 festivals were cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.Yesterday (January 26) it was announced that Wet Leg will take to the stage at SXSW ’22 ahead of releasing their anticipated, self-titled debut album on April 8.Other additions to the bill include Big Joanie, Pom Pom Squad, Pillow Queens, Balming Tiger, Cassandra Jenkins, La Doña, Mélat and many more.
