Pulp have announced the door times, curfew and stage times for their upcoming show at London’s Finsbury Park this weekend (Saturday July 1). Check them out below.The returning Jarvis Cocker-fronted Britpop heroes will be returning to the London venue for the first time since their legendary Hyde Park show back in 1998 – as documented in the concert move The Park Is Mine.After the gates open at 3pm, the first support act on will be Exotic Gardens at 5.05pm before cult indie hero Baxter Dury takes to the stage at 6pm and BRIT Award-winning Isle Of Wight art-pop stars Wet Leg at 7.10pm, before Pulp’s headline set kicks off at 8.40pm with a strict curfew of 10.30pm.

Foo Fighters have announced a live show in Brazil with Wet Leg and Garbage – find all the details below.The Dave Grohl-led band are due to perform at the Estádio Couto Pereira stadium in Curitiba, Paraná on September 7, two days before their previously confirmed gig in São Paulo (September 9).Both Wet Leg and Garbage will appear as special guest support acts at the new date.Tickets go on general sale at 10am BRT this Thursday (May 4) – you’ll be able to buy yours here. Thania Garcia Coachella 2023 is just two weeks away and on Monday the festival announced plans to amp up the reach of its global lineup with the addition of three extra live stream feeds. For the first time, the festival will be live on YouTube across all six stages on both weekends starting April 14 at 4:00 p.m. PT and continuing on April 21 at the same time. For those who can’t tune in live, performances will be made available each night following the evening’s live stream, while many of the top-billed acts will also be available on demand. As was previously announced, Bad Bunny, Blackpink and Frank Ocean will headline the 2023 Coachella festival, featuring additional appearances by Rosalía, Becky G, Gorillaz, Burna Boy, Wet Leg, Metro Boomin and many more.

Wet Leg have died following illnesses.Miniature donkey Angelica, who has the same name as the fifth single released from their self-titled 2022 debut album, died on Saturday (March 25). And older donkey called Jill died on the same day.Last year, Wet Leg became the first celebrity ambassadors to the Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary.The charity told BBC News that both animals had been “closely monitored for a while and both had various health issues that were causing concern”.Wet Leg, who are from the Isle of Wight, first adopted a donkey named Archie Baby from the sanctuary.

The Grammy-winning British group lead all nominess with six, while Sudan Archives, Allison Russell, Fontaines D.C., and Soul Glo have three each. The ceremony takes place on Thursday, June 15 at the historic Town Hall in New York City, and will feature 37 categories highlighting the best in independent music, as well as performances from nominees. Roger Daltrey has spoken to NME about the upcoming Teenage Cancer Trust shows, as well as The Who‘s “big, bold and sexy” orchestral tour, and whether we’ll hear any new music from the band.The frontman, who is an Honorary Patron of TCT, enlisted the likes of Kasabian, Wet Leg, Courteeners and Underworld for the 2023 edition of the charity’s annual gig series at the Royal Albert Hall in London.To close proceedings, Daltrey will play a solo concert at the historic venue on Sunday March 26. He’ll be joined on the night by special guests Richard Ashcroft and Joan Armatrading.

S Club 7 have discussed the possibility of returning to the studio after announcing a reunion tour in celebration of their 25th anniversary.The pop group have reunited once before, for a UK arena tour in 2015, but haven’t released any new music since their 2003 farewell single ‘Love Ain’t Gonna Wait For You’ / ‘Say Goodbye’.At a press conference in London earlier this week (February 14), band member Jon Lee described the prospect of adding to their discography as “exciting”.“It’s something that we have spoken about and something that we would all be up for, but at the minute we’re just seeing how the tour goes first,” Lee added.During their original run, S Club 7 released four studio albums and scored 11 consecutive UK Top Five hits with bangers including ‘Bring It All Back’, ‘Never Had A Dream Come True’, ‘Don’t Stop Movin”, ‘Natural’ and ‘Reach’.However, the band confirmed this week that there is still space in their setlist for deep cuts. “We had loads of album tracks, B-sides [and] songs that were performed on the TV series that [our fans] have never seen us perform live before, so we’d love to hear via social media if there’s anything they would love to see,” Lee said.Meanwhile, Lee’s bandmate Tina Barrett revealed that she is a fan of Wet Leg after catching their performance at last weekend’s BRIT Awards.

In the wake of the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, Good Music — a project of author Dave Eggers and music exect Jordan Kurland — has announced a new compilation with dozens of artists benefitting abortion non-profits in the United States.

Wet Leg have updated fans on why they didn’t perform two of their recent US tour dates, citing “mental and physical health” concerns.The duo have been touring their “instant classic” debut album across the States, and were due to play Abiquiú, New Mexico and the Westword Music Showcase in Denver, Colorado on September 9 and 10 respectively. After returning to the UK for a few days, however, it was announced that those dates would not go ahead.Posting on social media today (September 13), the band wrote: “Hey everyone! just wanted to say sorry for missing you Denver and New Mexico.

Wet Leg have become the latest act to be interviewed by Nardwuar – check out the video below.The Isle Of Wight duo – comprising Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers – took time out to speak to the legendary Canadian music journalist (aka the Human Serviette) during their current North American tour.As is customary on the channel, Nardwuar – who’s known for his unorthodox and enthusiastic interviewing techniques – gifted Wet Leg with various gifts throughout the chat, including an original Velvet Underground postcard from 1968.He also asked Teasdale about the time she spent working at the Robin Hill theme park on the Isle Of Wight.Speaking about the “big bird costumes” she had to wear for the job, the singer explained: “You have to put the legs on and then you get inside. You have to wipe down the inside first, ’cause it gets quite warm and sweaty in there.”Teasdale added: “It was so disgusting – so disgusting!”Later, Chambers recalled how touring Wet Leg member Josh Omead Mobaraki “accidentally” came up with a part for the group’s hit single ‘Chaise Lounge’ by tinkering on his pocket piano.Henry Holmes, who plays drums for the duo, remembered being “fucking mind blown” by Wet Leg before he joined their live line-up.

Wet Leg have spoken about the “really cool” experience of seeing Harry Styles cover their single ‘Wet Dream’.The pop star recorded a live version of the song in May as part of a special Live Lounge session on BBC Radio 1. It came after Wet Leg – aka Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers – were announced as the support act for Styles’ 2023 Australian/New Zealand tour.During a new interview with Apple Music 1, Teasdale recalled first hearing the ‘Harry’s House’ star’s spin on the track when the duo were in a splitter van on the way to a live show.“We were just on our phones, doing a good scroll sesh, and then gradually, one by one, we were like, ‘Oh my God, have you seen this? Oh my God, this appeared on the internet, and it’s Harry Styles covering ‘Wet Dream”,” she remembered.“Hester always describes it as [being like] we were watching intergalactic television like on Rick and Morty.

Their synth-y, deadpan cover of ‘Smoko’, the breakout 2017 hit by Sunshine Coast trio The Chats, was released by Australian youth broadcaster triple j today.Wet Leg’s Rhian Teasdale donned a pair of speed dealer sunglasses for the cover in an apparent tribute to The Chats frontman Eamon Sandwith and his fondness for the eyewear.
