Leslie Bibb (Jupiter’s Legacy) has been tapped as the female lead opposite Keegan-Michael Key and Johnny Knoxville in Reboot, Hulu’s comedy pilot from Modern Family co-creator Steve Levitan. Also cast in the project are Rachel Bloom, in her return to series television after her starring turn on her CW series Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Michael McKean and Krista Marie Yu.

Steve Levitan is headed to streaming. In the first non-network green light for the Emmy-winning Modern Family co-creator, Hulu has formally picked up comedy pilot Reboot, with Keegan-Michael Key and Johnny Knoxville tapped to star.

Its dysfunctional cast is forced back together and now must deal with their unresolved issues in today’s fast-changing world.Levitan is the creator, executive producer, and showrunner and also wrote the pilot story.

Fred Willard has earned his fifth Emmy nomination.The late actor and comedian scored a posthumous nod for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series for his role as Frank Dunphy — the father of Ty Burrell's Phil Dunphy — on  final season. Willard was previously nominated for the same role in 2010, and scored three consecutive nominations in the same category from 2003-05 for his role as Frank on .Willard died of natural causes on May 15, and was tributed by many of his friends and former co-stars. «Hard to think of anyone more associated with pure joyous comedy than @Fred_Willard,» shared creator Steve Levitan on Twitter.

After 11 seasons, 22 Emmy Awards, and 12 Golden Globe nominations, ABC’s Modern Family has finally come to an end. However, a spin-off may be in the works soon.

Modern Family finished up its eleventh and final season on Wednesday night, but there's already talk of a spin-off among the show's creative team.Co-creators Steve Levitan and Christopher Lloyd weighed in on the subject in an interview with Deadlineposted the same evening.Though both executive producers weren't ready to move forward with a spin-off, they though Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Eric Stonestreet's couple seemed the most likely to work on its own.

Modern Family signed off the air after 11 seasons on air just moments ago and while we dry our tears, the showrunners are opening up about the potential for spinoffs.

The new series is a collaboration between Audio Up and NYU's Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music.

Craig T. Nelson, who starred in NBC’s Parenthood, almost played the role of Jay Pritchett in Modern Family. The role eventually went to Ed O’Neill.
