Noah Kahan and Gracie Abrams will entertain thousands at London’s Hyde Park as part of the city’s annual British Summer Time concert series.“LONDON! An absolute honor to announce that I’ll be headlining Hyde Park (!!!) next summer and my dawg Gracie Abrams is gonna be joining me!!” Kahan shared on Instagram.Other big names scheduled to play Hyde Park next summer include Zach Bryan (June 28-29), Hugh Jackman (July 6) and Electric Light Orchestra (July 13).This massive gig won’t be Kahan or Abrams’ first rodeo in Great Britain. Sam Fender has continued to tease his new album, this time by sharing a live version of his as-yet-unreleased song ‘People Watching’ with fans – three years to the day his last album came out.The North Shields singer posted a link on his Instagram Stories which takes fans to a web page where they’re asked for their phone number. Fans then receive a text containing a link to a YouTube video of his performance of ‘People Watching‘ at Boardmasters in August.It’s the same song he shared a teaser of on Instagram last week.

Swift’s 'The Tortured Poets Department' was named as the UK’s biggest album of the year so far, after spending eight non-consecutive weeks at number one having shifted 667,500 chart units, the LP is both the most-streamed and best-selling album of 2024.

Hozier and Pantera are among the artists proving popular with gardeners.According to a new study by First Saturday Lime Study which dug into the intersection of music and gardening, both the Irish singer-songwriter and US heavy metal band dominate Spotify gardening playlists as the most featured artists.The study analysed over 76,000 songs from Spotify playlists and surveyed 1,000 Americans before discovering some surprise revelations.Hozier’s ‘Too Sweet’ was the top song to feature on gardening playlists, followed by ‘Here Comes The Sun’ by The Beatles and ‘Good Luck, Babe!’ by Chappell Roan.Zach Bryan, Morgan Wallen and Luke Combs, meanwhile, were the top artists appearing on homesteading – meaning someone who lives self-sufficiently, usually by growing their own food – playlists on Spotify.But it was Noah Kahan‘s ‘Stick Season’ that came out as the top song on homesteading playlists.Among other findings was that 62 per cent of gardeners and homesteaders listen to music while doing so, while 56 said that listening to metal while gardening actually helps to reduces stress.However listening to heavy metal apparently does come with some potential risks, with one finding revealing that 20 per cent of people who listen to that genre of music while gardening accidentally kill their plants.Similarly, nearly one in four people who listen to EDM while gardening (23 per cent) reported a low yield of crops.Elsewhere, it was rap/hip-hop and pop that came out as the top genres on gardening playlists on Spotify, while country and pop came out on top for homesteading playlists.As for the song of the summer among gardeners and homesteaders, Kendrick Lamar‘s ‘Not Like Us’ secured that honour.Another recent study found that metal proved

Noah Kahan has introduced The Busyhead Project to the UK – a non-profit organisation dedicated to raising awareness for mental health.Launched by the Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum US artist in May 2023, the foundation provides resources to organisations dedicated to meeting the needs of marginalised communities.So far, the non-profit organisation has raised $2.5million (£1.95m) to benefit over 55 organisations across the US, Canada and Mexico – each working to expand access to care and reach more underserved communities of young people. This included organisations like Toronto’s Jack.org, New York’s The JED Foundation, Chicago’s Hope For The Day, and Burlington’s Upper Valley Haven.Now, as the artist kicked off his long-awaited UK arena tour this week, he has confirmed that he will be introducing The Busyhead Project to the UK as well, and looking to raise both awareness and donations for mental health charities across the country.Whilst here, Kahan will implement the same extensive mental health safeguarding that became of paramount importance to his ‘We’ll All Be Here Forever’ US tour too.
