Red Bull on and off track has waded into the cost cap saga that has engulfed Formula 1.It has been confirmed this week that Red Bull breached F1’s cost cap for 2021 – the year their star driver Max Verstappen controversially pipped Lewis Hamilton to the drivers’ title. Governing body the FIA said Red Bull had committed a ‘minor’ breach, but the exact scale of the transgression and the severity of the penalty remain a mystery.There are even calls for the Dutchman to be stripped of his first title, although that appears to be unlikely.
