'Spoiled, entitled brat!' Jeremy Clarkson brands Formula 1 star Max Verstappen a 'b***ard'
Clarkson’s Farm star Jeremy Clarkson has called Max Verstappen a “spoiled, entitled brat” in his latest column. The former Top Gear presenter’s scathing remarks come after Max refused to let teammate Sergio Perez pass even after he had already become world champion.Jeremy noted that at first Formula 1 fans were won over by the racing driver’s “exuberant style and his get-out-of-my-way yobbery” but that the tables have since turned. The presenter then went on to describe how the sports star had gone from “hero to zero” at lighting speed in his eyes.Max sparked controversy last year when he won against Lewis Hamilton in Abu Dhabi on what was viewed by some to be an error in judgement. However, he is nonetheless one of Formula 1’s biggest stars, with fans all over the world.“Despite the controversy, we were all thrilled when he won his first world championship. And even more thrilled when he won his second,” Jeremy admitted. “But then, during one brief radio message in the closing stages of last weekend’s Brazilian Grand Prix, everyone suddenly decided that actually he was a b***ard.”Jeremy went on to describe how Max had been asked to slow down in order to let his teammate Sergio pass him by.Pointing out the star’s placement was irrelevant as he had already been named world champion at that point, Jeremy described the ask as “no big deal”. Therefore, the star was infuriated to see that Max refused the request, despite it being an important race for Sergio given that he has been battling for the runner-up position. Jeremy wrote: “Now, there was one time – in Monaco – when Sergio really didn’t help Max but there have been plenty of other occasions when he actively did.

Williams super fan honours Nicholas Latifi tattoo pledge as F1 driver breaks points duck
Max Verstappen clinched the F1 title in confusing fashion, the much-criticised Nicholas Latifi finally scored his first points of the season. It has been a tough third and probably final season in F1 for the Canadian, who has been the subject of social media ridicule due to a spate of crashes and poor pace compared to teammate Alex Albon and even Albon’s late-minute stand-in at the Italian Grand Prix, Nyck de Vries. Therefore it was no surprise when it was announced after Monza that Latifi would leave Williams at the end of the season, despite the fact his billionaire father Michael’s food company has been a key sponsor of the team. READ MORE: Nicholas Latifi 'shows why he is the greatest' after going the wrong way at Japanese GP Latifi was then staring at the ignominy of going through the whole season without scoring a single point. However, he avoided that fate with an excellent drive to ninth in treacherous conditions at Suzuka, finishing ahead of the McLarens of Lando Norris and Daniel Ricciardo. That came after a rather embarrassing start to the weekend when he went the wrong way before a corner during practice on Friday. As a result, a US-based Williams fan has seemingly got himself a tattoo to mark the occasion, having previously promised to do if the driver scored points this season. What's your favourite Nicholas Latifi moment? Tell us in the comments section below. The fan, posting under the name @Williams_F1_USA (Latifi Points Enjoyer), tweeted an imagine of his new piece of body art.

Red Bull found guilty of 'minor' budget cap breach as team waits on FIA punishment
READ MORE: Michael Masi was 'involved in confusing rule' which saw Max Verstappen clinch F1 title“The FIA cost cap administration notes that all competitors acted at all times in a spirit of good faith and cooperation throughout the process. The FIA would also note that with respect to this first year of the application of the financial regulations the intervention of the FIA cost cap administration has been limited to reviewing the submissions made by the competitors and that no full formal investigations were launched.“The FIA cost cap administration is currently determining the appropriate course of action to be taken under the financial regulations with respect to Aston Martin and Red Bull and further information will be communicated in compliance with the regulations.”Verstappen claimed his first world title last year, securing the victory over Lewis Hamilton in dramatic circumstances in the season finale in Abu Dhabi, before retaining the title this year after winning a shortened Japanese Grand Prix - which also saw chaos ensue after initial confusion.Heavy downpours meant the Suzuka race was limited to just 29 laps, which resulted in confusion over whether full points would be handed to Verstappen following his win, and after that was the case - the Dutchman was announced world champion for a second time. But with his title this year a formality, Red Bull had come under scrutiny in the last couple of weeks with reports suggesting the F1 giants had gone over the cost cap that had been introduced at the start of last season.
