Formula One driver who was lucky not to die at the the British Grand Prix earns far less than his rivals.Chinese driver Zhou Guanyu fortunately escaped without major injury after being involved in a horror crash at the start of Sunday's race at Silverstone. The race was red flagged on the first lap after a collision caused Zhou's Alfa Romeo to be flipped upside down before flying across the track and crashing into the trackside barriers.Footage of the incident captured by spectators has shown that the 23-year-old's car almost flew into the crowd after it was flung off the track.Data collected by Top10 Casinos has now revealed only one F1 driver earns less per year than Zhou, who is competing in his first season in F1.The figures show the salaries of all 20 F1 drivers, with Zhou tied 16th overall with Mick Schumacher and Nicolas Latifi on £821,177 per year, which equates to £37,326 per race, £718 per lap and £196 per mile driven.
