ITV host John Bishop announced the news on Thursday 23 March via Instagram that he and his family are “heartbroken” after the death of his mum, Kathy. Comedian John 56, shared a picture of him and his mum, along with a video from two weeks ago when she attended his performance in the theatre production, Mother Goose. The Masked Dancer UK has left viewers stunned after unmasking Sea Slug and Odd Socks revealing two huge names.

Odd Socks is the second character to be unveiled on The Masked Dancer 2022, following Sea Slug's elimination. After panellists Jonathan Ross, Oti Mabuse, Davina McCall, Peter Crouch and guest panellist John Bishop, deliberated – they decided to boot Odd Socks, unmasking the character as Girls Aloud star Kimberley Walsh. As host Joel Dommett revealed there had been a Girls Aloud nod in every single clue package, Kimberley, 40, said: “I did this for my kids, they love this show.They have no idea." K.J. Yossman Ian McKellen, two-time Oscar nominee, Tony award-winner and recipient of a knighthood from Queen Elizabeth II, is set to appear in a pantomime production of “Mother Goose” this winter. McKellen announced the news on Monday morning in central London by emerging from a giant gold egg alongside comedian John Bishop, who will also be starring in the production. Former “Great British Baking Show” host Mel Giedroyc (pictured above, holding McKellen’s hand) will also appear. McKellen will play the title role of Mother Goose (also known as “Ma”) while Bishop will play Mother Goose’s husband Vic (“Pa”). As the show opens, the avian couple are running an animal sanctuary inside an abandoned department store.
