Two men accused of being part of a plot to kidnap and torture a victim have been found guilty. Shaun Freeman, 29, and Delroy Chin 47, went on trial at Manchester Crown Court.
They have now been found guilty of conspiracy to kidnap. They were said to be part of an eight-strong group involved in the conspiracy.
Freeman was accused of giving intel about the man to the group, while Chin, prosecutors said, put trackers on his car. Six others kidnapped the man as he stepped outside a barbershop in Hale, Trafford, to take a phone call.
Freeman, from Hulme, was a 'football friend' of the man and provided information about him to the group, as well as hiring the lock-up where he was kept.
