Tony Stark and Happy Hogan had a reunion when Marvel Cinematic Universe stars Robert Downey Jr. and Jon Favreau got together again.

Jon Favreau wasn't sure about "Iron Man" when he signed on to direct and star in the first movie. While accepting his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Favreau spoke with Fox News Digital about his friendship with Robert Downey Jr. and what it was like starting the Marvel Cinematic Universe together with the first "Iron Man" movie in 2008.

That movie turned out to be “Iron Man,” starring Robert Downey Jr. (with Favreau also playing his right-hand man Happy Hogan) and, after dozens of spinoffs, theme-park rides and box office records, the rest is comic-book history. Recently, Favreau has traded his Repulsor gloves for lightsabers. He’s charting the future of “Star Wars” across several TV series, beginning with “The Mandalorian,” the flagship Disney+ show that debuted on Day 1 of the streamer. The Western-themed “Star Wars” series premieres its third season on March 1, and it’s already spawned several spinoffs and an adorable mascot with its lovable alien Grogu, akaBaby Yoda.

Zack Sharf “Avengers: Endgame” killed off Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man and Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, but Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige originally wanted an even bigger bloodbath. Filmmakers Anthony and Joe Russo recently confirmed on the “Happy Sad Confused” podcast that Feige pitched them on killing off all the original Avengers, meaning Chris Evans (Captain America), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), Chris Hemsworth (Thor) and Mark Ruffalo (Hulk) would’ve also met their demise.“There were lots of rumors swirling about who was gonna die,” Joe Russo said.
