Gabby Barrett is returning to Nashville to hit the CMT Music Awards stage. The «I Hope» singer exclusively confirmed the news to ET on Sunday, where she shared her gratitude for those who have supported her music along the way, ahead of Monday's fan-voted awards show.«The CMT Music Awards are just such a fun show to be a part of, and I’m so honored to be performing!» Barrett told ET.

Dolly Parton has taken herself out of the running for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. On Monday, the «Jolene» singer made the announcement via a statement on Instagram.  “Dolly here! Even though I’m extremely flattered and grateful to be nominated for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, I don’t feel that I have earned that right. I really do not want votes to be split because of me, so I must respectfully bow out,” it read.

American Idol alum sang a rendition of Parton’s 1973 song “I Will Always Love You,” a classic that was also immortalized by in her own cover for the 1992 movie The Bodyguard.The Kelly Clarkson Show host performed the song with an acoustic guitar and piano backing, to many applauds and cheers from celebs and fans alike. Parton was particularly moved by the performance and joined Clarkson onstage with an embrace that showed how much love there is between the two country icons. The 9 to 5 singer hosted the show alongside country singers Jimmie Allen and Gabby Barrett.
