Channel 4 has announced that it will no longer work with the stars of long-running property show Escape to the Chateau.

Channel 4 has severed ties with two of its biggest stars, Dick Strawbridge and Angel Adoree, after ordering an independent investigation into their conduct. The married couple delighted viewers with their series Escape To The Chateau which chronicled their renovation journey for the past six years. Dick, 63, and Angel, 44, previously announced the series was coming to an end last year and explained the decision was for family reasons, as their two children were getting older and they wanted to "protect" them from the cameras.
