Williams, best known for her role as Shirley Feeney in the classic 1970s sitcom, Laverne & Shirley, passed away in Los Angeles after a brief illness on 25 January. "The passing of our kind, hilarious mother, Cindy Williams, has brought us insurmountable sadness that could never truly be expressed," her children Zak and Emily Hudson said in a statement to The Associated Press on Monday.
