non-essential retail stores are able to reopen in the UK on Monday 15th June, Britain’s network of independent shops and small fashion boutiques should be rejoicing. Closed since March, the opportunity to throw open their doors to local customers again would, in theory, be something to celebrate, bringing in much-needed foot traffic to boost the online sales they’ve managed to keep up during the pandemic - or giving an outright lifeline to those tiny operations whose websites were not equipped, and who have been closed up completely.There is one thing that might hinder them though; the two metre rule.
