Boris Johnson has released his resignation honours list - with the former Prime Minister handing a knighthood and damehood to Jacob Rees-Mogg and Priti Patel.
The list also features former London mayoral candidate Shaun Bailey and Tees Valley mayor Ben Houchen, who have both been given peerages.
However there was no mention of Nadine Dorries - who announced she was standing down as an MP on Friday - and Sir Alok Sharma.
It is believed both were cut at the 11th hour to swerve potentially damaging by-elections in their seats.
