Manager Pep Guardiola revealed that Aguero has not been involved in squad training yet, after the player yesterday posted footage of himself working alone on the training pitch.
Aguero suffered a knee injury against Burnley when City resumed their 2019-20 season in June, and ended up flying to Barcelona for surgery.
There were initial hopes he could be fit in time for the later stages of the Champions League tournament last month, but City crashed out and Aguero would not have been fit to play in any case - he was still in Barcelona for rehabilitation.But Guardiola said a return is not on.
