McCartney was one of the earliest designers to refuse to use animal-related products in her work. In the show notes, she expounded on this commitment, writing "There has never been a time when we have had more hope in ending fashion's use of fur and leather." And thus, the only animals in sight in McCartney's sleek collection were the gigantic, fluffy mascot variety.
