Tragic PC Andrew Harper's widow has described the disgust at seeing her husband's killers laughing and joking in the dock. The 28-year-old was dragged to his death after he was caught in a crane strap as he tried to stop three thieves fleeing after they stole a quad bike in Stanford Dingley, Berkshire, on August 15 last year.
The Thames Valley Police traffic officer had only been married to long-term girlfriend Lissie Harper for four weeks when he died.
Mrs Harper said listening to some of the details about her loved one's death during the Old Bailey trial made her "feel the most anger towards those vile savages in the dock".
