Dr Helen Wall, senior responsible officer for vaccinations in Bolton, penned a series of tweets analysing the reasons some residents appeared not to want to get their injections.
While many people did choose to get their jab at the earliest possible opportunity, some areas of the town had a very low uptake, especially in places with high levels of deprivation.
