And as the childhood pals barely made any cash in those early days, they often ended up staying in the same hotel room - and sometimes in the same bed.
After telling the reception desk they had no problem bunking up together, recalls their reaction: “Cue the awkward pause and ‘they must be gay’ looks before being given the key.” Later on in their careers, the pals found themselves in the same hotel room again.Unbeknown to both of them, they both had jobs in London and were booked adjoining.
