John Michael "Ozzy" Osbourne (born 3 December 1948) is an English singer, songwriter, actor and television personality. He rose to prominence during the 1970s as the lead vocalist of the heavy metal band Black Sabbath, during which he adopted the nickname "The Prince of Darkness".
Osbourne was fired from the band in 1979 due to alcohol and drug problems, but he went on to have a successful solo career, releasing eleven studio albums, the first seven of which were all awarded multi-platinum certifications in the United States. Osbourne has since reunited with Black Sabbath on several occasions.
OZZY Osbourne swapped heavy metal for precious metal as he was seen with silver hair on a rare outing amid his battle with Parkinson's disease.
The rock icon, 71, ditched his familiar jet black colouring in favour of a natural grey as he headed out shopping in California with wife Sharon, 67.
Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy was pictured looking in the mirror wearing a black T-shirt as he waited for Sharon to pick up some items.
He has kept out of the limelight since announcing his Parkin 2 - a form of Parkinson's - diagnosis in January. Parkin 2 cannot be cured, but treatments are available to minimise symptoms — although it is steadily degenerative.
