More than 50 people were caught drinking and sunbathing during lockdown - leaving a beauty spot completely trashed. A group of more than 50 were spotted gathered together at Stoney Bank lake, off Stones Bank Road, in Egerton on Wednesday as temperatures soared in the region.
Walkers found the beauty spot, near Delph Reservoir, covered in litter the next morning - discovering the grassy bank buried in beer cans, liquor bottles, cigarette packet, gas canister and balloons.
