One-year-old baby dies in Glasgow after being rushed to hospital

A one-year-old baby suddenly found unresponsive at home tragically died after being rushed to hospital. Police were called to a property in Jura Street in the Govan area of the Scottish city at around 9.20am yesterday morning.

The baby was taken to the city's Royal Hospital for Children but was pronounced dead a short time later, according to the Daily Record.

There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances although the death is being treated as unexplained. A post-mortem examination is to follow.
