Tributes have been paid to a 'one of a kind' young man who died four months after suffering catastrophic injuries in a street attack.
Jack Sumner, 22, had appeared to be on the long road to recovery after being assaulted in Chesterton, Staffordshire, on June 25.
But on Wednesday night, surrounded by family and friends, he tragically lost his fight for life, Stoke on Trent Live reports.
Friends have paid tribute to Jack, remembering "amazing memories" which will "last a lifetime". His death has shocked the whole community.
