Solskjaer was appointed on a caretaker basis in December 2018 before he was made permanent manager in March 2019 on a three-year deal.
Despite failing to secure Champions League qualification at the end of 2018-19, Solskjaer has overseen third and second-place Premier League finishes in his two complete campaigns.
