An agoraphobic man who struggled to leave the house has died of Covid-19 before he was able to get vaccinated. Brendon Jones died age 33 in in intensive care at North Manchester General Hospital earlier this month after battling the virus for around nine days, according to the Manchester Evening News.

Mr Jones, who was devoted to his nephews and nieces, had hoped to receive a coronavirus vaccine as soon as he could - but struggled to leave the house due to his agoraphobia.

His fear of crowds and busy places meant Mr Jones was usually at home in Blackley with his mother Hayley and his father Kevin.
