Ole Gunnar Solskjaer
Ole Gunnar Solskjær KSO (Norwegian pronunciation: (About this soundlisten); born 26 February 1973) is a Norwegian professional football manager and former player. He is currently the manager of English club Manchester United. As a player, he played as a forward and spent most of his career with Manchester United. Solskjær also supervises a training academy for young footballers in his home town of Kristiansund, and is a patron of the Manchester United Supporters' Trust.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer insists Manchester United are still the number one club in Manchester despite City's dominance over the last decade.

United last won the Premier League title in 2013 and City have become champions on four occasions since - three of them in the last four seasons under Pep Guardiola.

City have not suffered a trophyless campaign since Guardiola's first with the club in 2016-17 - the last season United won anything.

Having prepared for an intended championship challenge this term, United are already eight points behind leaders Chelsea. The Manchester club rivalry was reignited with the takeover of City by the Abu Dhabi Group in 2008 which intensified in 2009 when United declined the option to sign Carlos Tevez permanently
