Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has claimed that Alex Telles wasn’t “streetwise” enough as Manchester United crashed out of the Champions League.

United travelled to Germany knowing that a point would have seen them qualify for the last-16, but were beaten 3-2 after another dismal defensive showing.

Leipzig opened the scoring after just two minutes through Man City loanee Angelino, before Amadou Haidara doubled their lead ten minutes later.

However, Solskjaer has claimed that second goal could have been disallowed for a shove on Telles by Emil Forsberg. VAR did check the goal, but decided no foul had been committed, with Telles remaining on his feet, despite the contact from Forsberg.
